  • Exceptions Dashboard - If a new Exception is created using the same 'Reason' as a current one, the older exception will be removed from the grid display.

  • Availability Tab - The data for the first grid will pre-load, enabling speed improvements when looking at the Availability Tab.

  • Documents - It was previously not possible to open documents with commas in the filename using Google Chrome; this has been resolved.
  • Product Support - If an incident is open already a prompt will appear informing you there are open Support Incidents.
  • Screen Resolution - When viewing Related Incidents and other tabs in a small screen, the view would cut off - this has been resolved to account for smaller screen resolutions.
  • Siemens References - All Siemens references (Contractors) have been renamed to reflect Yunex.

  • When creating an incident there is now an informational icon Info Icon in the Site field, which will display the Postcode, Installation/Commissioning Date and how long until the Warranty Expires, where the data is available
  • Data Export - District Filter was added to the remaining Datasets.
  • Equipment Types - It is possible to view Sites where an Equipment Type is in use; navigate to Administration > Equipment Types and locate an item with a green tick; right clicking this will allow you to list sites where the equipment type is in use.

  • This new interface offers the ability to delay the creation of incidents.
    For example, a momentary power fail can be held and only submitted to InView if it continues to persist after (say) 10 minutes.
  • It also provides an indication of when previously raised faults have cleared.

IE11 Icon Browser Support
  • IE11 Icon Microsoft IE11 remains the only fully supported browser across both the old Silverlight and new HTML5 screens.
  • Edge Icon Microsoft Edge Chromium and Chrome Icon Google Chrome can be used if activity can be limited to just the new HTML5 screens. In these browsers selecting Classic InView will fail with a request to install Silverlight.

  • InView has always offered a facility to identify potential hazards at individual sites. A new optional facility is now also available to identify potential hazards when creating incidents.
  • Two new incident note types introduced: Email and Phone Call.
  • The previously introduced Customer Action tick box used for PI incidents has been added to normal fault incidents. If ticked when the incident is placed in a Temp Clear or Closed status an e-mail is sent to the customer contact.
Motts Interface
  • InView is now able to accept faults from Motts and progress them through their lifecycle.
Mobile App
  • Newly introduced incident hazards added to the display. See incidents section above for more details.

Data Export
  • Users are now able to edit and delete their own data export templates.

Incident Life Cycle

It is not possible to move an incident from Confirmed back to a Temp Clear status. Siemens take no action when an incident is progressed to the Confirmed state.
Asset Management
  • InView includes a default tree structure for equipment types. New is the ability to add a new "Group" at the top level by right clicking and selecting "add group".
Automatic Faults
  • Bug fixes to solve issues with automatic faults generation and updates, specifically:
  • - A fix to stop the Details field having repeated text on receipt of duplicate fault updates.

    - A fix to ensure the correct User is specified in the history tab against items updated after receipt of a duplicate fault.

    - An enhancement to ensure that chargeable incidents do not have their severities or fault codes updated when a duplicate fault is identified.
